- 1/2 kg minced pork
- 100 g shredded ham
- 2 slices white bread, soaked in water to soften and mashed
- 5 sliced mushrooms
- 1 egg
- 1 sliced and fried onion
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp sherry
- 1 tsp Lea & Perrins sauce
- 1 tbsp light soya sauce
- 7 tbsp milk
- 1 chicken, slit front
- 4 hardboiled eggs
- soya sauce
- butter
Methods / instructions
- Combine the first 12 ingredients.
- Use needle and thread to sew the chicken neck opening.
- Stuff meat mixture into the neck and breast cavity.
- Place 2 hardboiled eggs in breast cavity and continue stuffing the legs and body.
- Place remaining egg in lower cavity and stuff chicken with remaining mixture.
- Sew up the end.
- Rub chicken with light soya sauce and butter.
- Roast until meat is cooked.
- Slice up and serve hot.
