Singapore consists of multicultural society, coming from majority Chinese, followed by Malays, Indians and others. Singapore is surrounded by water, hence fresh fish and seafood can be easily obtained. With that, much delicious seafood cuisine is popularly served. Due to its limitation in agriculture, Singapore is heavily dependent on imported foods such as beef, lamb and veil.
