Braised cabbage with dried shrimps recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 400 g Chinese cabbage
  • 1 tbsp dried shrimps
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp corn flour mixed with 3 tbsp milk

Methods / instructions

  1. Separate cabbage leaves but remain as whole piece. Clean and set aside.
  2. Soak dried shrimps for 5 minutes, drain and set aside.
  3. Heat oil in wok and stir fry for 2 minutes.
  4. Add in cabbage and stir fry for a minute.
  5. Add remaining ingredients and simmer gently for 12 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately.
