- 550 g beef chunks
- 1 tsp light soy sauce
- 3 cups vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp pounded black peppercorns
- 3 shredded ginger slices
- 3 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
- 2 sliced onions
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp oyster sauce
- 200 g baby kale
Methods / instructions
- Marinate beef with light soy sauce.
- Heat oil in a pan over high heat and deep fry marinated beef for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- In a wok, dry fry pounded peppercorns for 3 minutes and set aside.
- Add 3 tbsp oil into pan and stir fry ginger and garlic for 2 minutes.
- Add in onions and stir fry until translucent.
- Add in beef, peppercorns and remaining ingredients.
- Stir fry briefly and serve immediately.
