Beef satay or mutton satay recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 1/2 kg beef or mutton, cut into small chunks
  • 2 pounded candlenuts
  • 1 pounded garlic cloves
  • 2 pounded ginger slices
  • 4 pounded shallots
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp tumeric powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp roasted and grounded peanuts
  • 18 satay sticks

Methods / instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients and thread meat on satay sticks.
  2. Grill meat until cooked and serve hot.
