Beef rendang recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 700 g beef chunks
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 500 ml evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chili paste
  • 1/2 lemon peel

Methods / instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan, bring to boil and gently simmer until meat is tender.
  2. Serve hot.
