Ingredients /nutrition
- 1 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 750 g chicken, cut into bite size pieces
- 3 sliced red chilies
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 5 tbsp water
- 1 sliced onion
- 5 drops sesame oil
- toasted sesame seeds
Methods / instructions
- In a large frying pan, heat oil and brown chicken.
- Remove chicken from heat, drain on kitchen paper towel and set aside.
- Add chilies in pan and stir fry for 1/2 minute. Return chicken to pan.
- Add soy sauce, sugar and water. Bring to simmer and cook gently for 12 minutes.
- Stir in onion and cook for a further 5 minutes.
- Add in sesame oil and top with toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve hot with boiled fragrant rice.
