Ingredients /nutrition
- 1/2 kg spareribs, cut into bite size pieces
- 150 g pork, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 packet Bak Kut Teh spices
- 7 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp thick soy sauce
- 1 1/2 l water
- 2 pcs diced soy bean cakes
- 1 pc bean curb stick, soaked to soften, cut into pieces
- salt to taste
- 10 pork balls
- 6 mushrooms, removed stems, soaked to soften
Methods / instructions
- Place spareribs in a boiling water to remove blood smell.
- Place spareribs and remaining ingredients in a claypot and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat and gently simmer for 45 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice and crullers if desired.
