- 320 g dried Chinese egg noodles
- 2 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 4 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 1 pc grated ginger root
- 110 g chicken breast, cut into strips
- 110 g peeled prawns
- 110 g shredded Chinese cabbage
- 5 sliced Chinese mushrooms, soaked in hot water for 20 minutes, reserve liquid
- oyster sauce to taste
- 110 g cooked crab meat
Methods / instructions
- Cook noodles in a heavy saucepan according to packet instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a frying pan, heat up oil and add onion, garlic and ginger.
- Cook for 5 minutes, increase heat and stir in chicken. Cook for further 3 minutes and add in prawns.
- Stir fry for 1 minute and add in cabbage, noodles and mushrooms with reserved liquid.
- Stir in oyster sauce and cook briefly.
- Transfer content to warm plate and top with crab meat.
- Serve immediately.
