Butter prawns recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 300 ml vegetable oil
  • 600 g medium size prawn
  • 65g butter
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 3 tbsp evaporated milk
  • 16 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chicken stock granules

Methods / instructions

  1. Heat oil and deep fry prawns until golden brown.
  2. Remove from heat, drain on kitchen paper towel and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a separate pan and add remaining ingredients and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Return prawns into pan and stir well.
  5. Serve hot.
