Ingredients /nutrition
- 550 g peeled, boiled and mashed potatoes
- 280 g minced beef
- 1 tbsp ground white pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 10 shallots, peeled, sliced and lightly browned in oil
- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- plain flour
- vegetable oil for shallow frying
Methods / instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients. Mix well.
- Form mixture into patties and lightly coat with flour.
- Fry patties for 5-6 minutes in hot oil or until cooked.
- Serve hot with burger buns, lettuce, mayonnaise, tomatoes, pickles and cucumbers.
