Sour carrot recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 220 g pork stomach
  • 6 peeled garlic cloves
  • 4 dried red chilies
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 2 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 3 peeled and shredded carrots

Methods / instructions

  1. Add pork stomach and enough water to cover in a saucepan and boil for 1/2 hour.
  2. Meanwhile, pound garlic, chilies and tomatoes in a mortar and stir in fish sauce.
  3. Arrange shredded carrot on serving plate and pour sauce over.
  4. Drain pork stomach and thinly slice.
  5. Arrange pork stomach on top of salad.
  6. Mix well and chill for 20 minutes in refrigerator before serving.
