Chicken soup recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 1 chicken
  • 2 l water
  • 3 1/2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 3/4 tsp sugar
  • juice of 1 lime
  • 3 chopped spring onions
  • 5 tbsp shredded cilantro
  • 1 sliced red chili

Methods / instructions

  1. Add chicken and water in a heavy saucepan and bring to boil for 25 minutes. Remove chicken from pan and debone the chicken. Cut the flesh to bite size pieces.
  2. Return meat and bones to saucepan and boil for 5 minutes.
  3. Add in remaining ingredients and heat through.
  4. Serve hot with rice.
