Ingredients /nutrition
- 180 g minced pork
- 1 tbsp spicy soy bean paste
- 1 sprig trimmed and finely chopped scallions
- 20 g peeled and mashed ginger
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 6 shiitake mushrooms
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 lightly beaten eggs
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- Oil for deep frying
Methods / instructions
- Combine the first 5 ingredients and chill in refrigerator for 40 minutes.
- Stuff mushroom with pork mixture.
- Dip stuffed mushroom with flour, then eggs and coat with bread crumbs.
- Chill in fridge for 16 minutes.
- Heat oil and deep fry mushrooms for 8 minutes.
- Drain on kitchen paper towel and serve immediately.
