Stir fry beef recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 480 g Teriyaki beef
  • 3 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 2 canned pineapple rings
  • 125 ml canned pear juice
  • 3 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 1/2 peeled and minced onion
  • 125 ml mirin
  • 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 sliced carrot
  • 1 sliced scallion
  • 2 sliced shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 tsp lightly toasted white sesame seeds
  • 4 drops sesame oil  

Methods / instructions

  1. Mix well the first 9 ingredients from the list in a mixing bowl.
  2. Cover with cling film and chill in the refrigerator overnight.
  3. Heat oil and saute garlic until aromatic.
  4. Stir in marinated beef and remaining ingredients.
  5. Serve immediately.
