Ingredients /nutrition
- 8 oz tube shape rice cake (ddeokbokee ddeok)
- 2 tbsp Korean chili paste (gochoojang)
- 1 tbsp Korean chili powder (gochoogaroo)
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 roughly chopped onion
- 1/4 roughly chopped cabbage
- 1/2 sliced carrot
- 1 chopped green onion
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 2 sheets fish cake, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
Methods / instructions
- Place rice cake in pot with enough water to cover.
- Cook until soft and add in chili paste, chili powder, sugar, soy sauce and pepper.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens.
- Add remaining ingredients and cook for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot..
