Radish kimchi recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 1 head Chinese cabbage, cut into bite size pieces
  • 140 g sliced white radish
  • 3 tbsp salt
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 sliced scallions
  • 2 slices chopped ginger
  • 3 1/4 l water
  • 125 ml clear sweetened carbonated water (Seven-Up or Sprite)

Methods / instructions

  1. Mix well the first 3 ingredients and set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Rinse cabbage and radish with cold water, drain and mix with remaining ingredients.
  3. Cover with cling film and chill in refrigerator for at least an hour.
  4. Serve cold.
