Ingredients /nutrition
- 22 peppercorns
- 2 Asian peeled and cored pears, cut into quarters
- 4 cups water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- pine nuts
Methods / instructions
- Stick 2 to 3 peppercorns on the outer side of the pears.
- Combine pears with water and sugar in a saucepan.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook for 6 minutes.
- Chill in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Garnish with pine nuts prior serving.
