In Korean, rice is important and is always a must in every meal. Sometimes, rice is combined with other grains like azuki beans or red beans, soy beans, lima beans and barley. It is sometimes accompanied by meat, fish, vegetables, soup and kimchi. Kimchi is a fermented spicy vegetable dish. Rich seasoning is one of the essential ingredients in Korean food, such as sesame oil, soy sauce, fermented soybean paste, salt, garlic, ginger, black pepper and red chili powder and red chili paste.
