Grilled salmon recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 400 g thickly sliced salmon
  • 1 tbsp sea salt
  • ground white pepper to taste
  • 125 ml light soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp cooking wine
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • 2 slices chopped ginger
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  •  

Methods / instructions

  1. Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper and set aside for 2 1/2 hours.
  2. In a blender or food processor, combine remaining ingredients except oil.
  3. Strain sauce through a sieve and discard residue.
  4. Mix salmon with sauce and chill in refrigerator for 7 hours.
  5. Drain salmon, heat oil and grill until cooked.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges.
