- 400 g can sweetened boiled azuki beans
- 400ml water
- 4 dried Japanese rice cakes (mochi)
Methods / instructions
- Bring azuki beans in water to boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer gently for 18 minutes.
- Meanwhile, place mochi under hot grill and grill for 6 minutes.
- Serve bean soup with rice cake.
