- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 tsp Japanese sesame oil
- 350 g spinach
- 2 lightly toasted sheets nori
- black sesame seeds
Methods / instructions
- Prepare dressing by mixing well the first 5 ingredients from the list. Set aside.
- Blanch spinach for 1/2 minute and drain.
- Remove spinach root and cut in half widthways.
- Divide into 4 bundles and dry on kitchen paper towel.
- Cut spinach into small pieces.
- Cut nori squares and wrap nori around each spinach bundle.
- Drizzle with dressing and top with sesame seeds.
