Spinach rolls recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 tsp Japanese sesame oil
  • 350 g spinach
  • 2 lightly toasted sheets nori
  • black sesame seeds

Methods / instructions

  1. Prepare dressing by mixing well the first 5 ingredients from the list. Set aside.
  2. Blanch spinach for 1/2 minute and drain.
  3. Remove spinach root and cut in half widthways.
  4. Divide into 4 bundles and dry on kitchen paper towel.
  5. Cut spinach into small pieces.
  6. Cut nori squares and wrap nori around each spinach bundle.
  7. Drizzle with dressing and top with sesame seeds.
