Ingredients /nutrition
- 5 cups cooked Japanese rice
- 1/2 tsp dashi powder dissolved in 400 ml water
- 2 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 tbsp mirin
- 1 1/2 tsp wasabi paste
- 1 sheet toasted and thinly sliced nori (seaweed)
- 350 g thinly sliced sashimi quality tuna
- 2 tbsp red pickled ginger
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Methods / instructions
- Divide rice equally among 4 bowls.
- Mix well dashi mixture, soy sauce, mirin and wasabi and pour over rice.
- Top with nori and tuna on rice.
- Sprinkle with pickled ginger and sesame seeds.
