- 450 g fresh salmon fillet, cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 2 tsp sake
- 1 tbsp oil
- 80 g peeled and grated daikon
Methods / instructions
- Place salmon in a baking pan.
- Mix soy sauce, mirin and sake in a bowl and pour over salmon.
- Allow to marinate for 15 minutes. Drain salmon and reserve marinade.
- Heat broiler and brush rack with oil.
- Place salmon on rack and brush with marinade.
- Grill for 4 1/2 minutes and turn over.
- Brush again with marinade and cook for a further 3 1/2 minutes.
- Serve hot with daikon.
