Salmon teriyaki recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 450 g fresh salmon fillet, cut into pieces
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 2 tsp sake
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 80 g peeled and grated daikon

Methods / instructions

  1. Place salmon in a baking pan.
  2. Mix soy sauce, mirin and sake in a bowl and pour over salmon.
  3. Allow to marinate for 15 minutes. Drain salmon and reserve marinade.
  4. Heat broiler and brush rack with oil.
  5. Place salmon on rack and brush with marinade.
  6. Grill for 4 1/2 minutes and turn over.
  7. Brush again with marinade and cook for a further 3 1/2 minutes.
  8. Serve hot with daikon.
