Ingredients /nutrition
- 120 ml sake
- 1 tsp dashi powder dissolved in 250 ml water
- 1 thinly sliced carrot
- 3/4 cup sliced leek, soaked in water
- 100 g dried Japanese potato starch noodles
- 220 g thinly sliced pork fillet or shoulder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 thinly sliced spring onion (scallion)
Methods / instructions
- Mix sake and dashi mixture in a saucepan and bring to boil.
- Reduce heat and add in carrot, leek and noodles.
- Cook until vegetables are tender and stir in pork, soy sauce and lemon juice.
- Cook until pork is done and remove from heat.
- Serve hot and top with spring onions.
