Ingredients /nutrition
- 1/2 tbsp white miso paste
- 1/2 tbsp red miso paste
- 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp mirin
- 250 g beef sirloin or fillet steak, cut into bite size pieces
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 100g sliced onions
- 3 1/2 tsp Japanese sesame oil
- 2 1/2 tbsp sake
- 2 tsp soy sauce
Methods / instructions
- Prepare miso dressing by combining the first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
- Season beef cubes with pepper and mix well with onions and sesame oil.
- Heat frying pan and add in beef and onions.
- Stir fry until meat is browned.
- Stir in sake and soy sauce.
- Cook for 1/2 minute and remove from heat.
- Serve hot.
