Ingredients /nutrition
- 350 g pork, cut into cubes
- 1 1/2 tbsp sake
- 4 tbsp katakuriko (potato starch)
- 250 ml vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 90 ml water
- 1 1/2 tbsp castor sugar
- grated ginger
- 3 crushed garlic clove
- 1 tbsp mirin
- 4 sliced chive stems
Methods / instructions
- Mix pork with sake.
- Add in potato starch and mix well.
- Heat oil and deep fry pork until cooked.
- Remove from heat and drain on kitchen paper towel. Set aside.
- Combine remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
- Add in pork and simmer for several minutes.
- Serve hot.
