Glazed sweet potatoes recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 300 g sweet potatoes
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil
  • 4 tsp mirin
  • 1 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 2 1/2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp black sesame seeds

Methods / instructions

  1. Bring sweet potatoes to boil in a saucepan filled with water.
  2. Remove and drain when potatoes are tendered.
  3. Peel potatoes and cut into chunks.
  4. Heat oil and deep fry until potatoes change color.
  5. Add in remaining ingredients and cook until sauce caramelized.
  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
