- 4 steaks
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp mirin
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp rice vinegar
- 200 g thinly shredded daikon
- 1/2 thinly shredded carrot
- 1 thinly shredded ginger
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 thinly sliced spring onions
Methods / instructions
- Place steak on baking dish. Set aside.
- To make the sauce, mix garlic, soy sauce and mirin in a small bowl.
- Pour sauce over the steaks and set aside for 45 minutes.
- Dissolve sugar in vinegar pour over vegetables and ginger. Set aside for 15 minutes. Drain the vegetables.
- Heat oil and stir fry steak to your preference.
- Remove steak and top with spring onions. Serve with marinated vegetables.
