Ingredients /nutrition
- 300 g firm tofu, cut into bite size pieces
- 1 tsp corn starch
oil for deep-frying
- 1 tbsp finely grated fresh ginger
- 2 tbsp thinly sliced spring onions (scallions)
- 2 1/2 tbsp bonito flakes
- dark soy sauce to taste
Methods / instructions
- Coat tofu with corn starch.
- Heat oil and deep fry until tofu pieces are golden brown.
- Drain on kitchen paper towel.
- Serve with remaining ingredients.
