- 100 ml sake
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 kg cleaned baby octopuses
- 4 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 70 g all purpose flour
oil for deep-frying
Methods / instructions
- Mix sake and soy sauce in a small bowl and pour over octopuses. Refrigerate it overnight.
- Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing Worcestershire sauce, tomato ketchup and lemon juice. Set aside.
- Take out octopuses from refrigerator, drain and dredge in flour.
- Heat oil and deep fry octopuses until cooked.
- Drain on kitchen paper towel and serve with sauce.
