Ingredients /nutrition
- 10 dried chilies, soaked in hot water for 20 minutes and drained
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 slices ginger
- 1 tomato
- vegetable oil
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 3 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp fennel powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 2 tsp cumin powder
- 400 ml water
- 350 g minced beef
- salt to taste
Methods / instructions
- Combine dried chilies, onion, garlic, ginger and tomato in a food processor or blender and process until form a smooth paste.
- Heat up oil and saute cinnamon stick and cloves until aromatic. Add in grinded paste and remaining spice powders.
- Pour water and bring to boil.
- Stir in minced beef and season well with salt.
- Serve instantly.
