Chili crab recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 6 dried chilies, soaked in hot water for 20 minutes and drained
  • 15 g fresh turmeric
  • 15 g ginger
  • 15 g galangal
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 150 g shallots
  • 9 red chilies
  • vegetable oil
  • 1 stalk flatten lemon grass
  • 1 kg crabs meat
  • 250 ml water
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Methods / instructions

  1. Grind the first 7 ingredients from the list using food processor or blender until form a smooth paste.
  2. Heat up oil and saute paste until aromatic.
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
