Black pepper pomfret fish recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 1 black pomfret fish
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • vegetable oil
  • 4 slices ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 sliced green chili
  • 1 sliced red chili
  • 1 sliced onion
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce

Methods / instructions

  1. Marinate fish with salt and ground black pepper and set aside for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat up oil in a pan and pan fry ginger.
  3. Add in fish and fry under low heat until fish is cooked.
  4. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  5. In the same pan, add in some oil and saute cracked black pepper until fragrant.
  6. Return fish to pan and give a quick stir.
  7. Transfer to a serving plate and add remaining ingredients on top.
  8. Serve immediately.
