Baked turmeric chicken recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 1 1/2 kg chicken, cut into bite size pieces
  • 100 ml thick coconut milk
  • 2 1/2 tbsp lime juice
  • salt and sugar to taste
  • 80 g shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 25 g turmeric

Methods / instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and set aside for 1 1/2 hours.
  2. Bake chicken in a preheated oven at 180 degree C for 45 minutes.
  3. Serve hot.
