Tandoori prawns recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 7 peeled shallots
  • 6 peeled garlic cloves
  • 1 ginger
  • 7 tbsp yoghurt
  • 4 tbsp chili paste
  • 2 tsp mustard
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 8 king prawns
  • 4 tbsp ghee

Methods / instructions

  1. Blend the first 9 ingredients from the ingredient list to form a smooth paste.
  2. Marinate prawns with the paste and set aside for 10 hours.
  3. Grill prawn for 7-8 minutes on 1 side.
  4. Grease with ghee and turn over.
  5. Grill for a further 3-4 minutes on the other side.
  6. Serve hot.
