- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 250 g dried anchovies
- 4 chopped red chilies
- 6 peeled shallots
- 1 calamansi, squeeze juice and grate skin hair fine
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp sugar
Methods / instructions
- Heat oil in a wok or heavy saucepan.
- Fry anchovies until crispy and remove from heat.
- Mix fried anchovies with remaining ingredients and pound lightly.
- Serve with boiled fragrant rice.
