Cuttlefish casserole recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 2 sliced red chilies
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground fenugreek seed
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 cup fish stock
  • 1 kg cuttlefish, cut into bite size pieces

Methods / instructions

  1. Heat up oil and saute onion, garlic, chilies, cumin, coriander, fenugreek seed and chili powder for 5 minutes.
  2. Pour in stock and bring to boil.
  3. Add in cuttlefish, uncovered and simmer gently for 5-6 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with boiled rice or noodles.
