Coconut fish curry recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 4 sea bass fillets
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 1/2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 finely sliced onions
  • 5 sliced green chilies
  • 4 finely sliced garlic cloves
  • 18 curry leaves
  • 400 ml coconut milk

Methods / instructions

  1. Rub fish with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon turmeric.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a large heavy pan and stir fry onions, chilies and garlic for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add in fish, curry leaves, remaining salt and turmeric and coconut milk.
  4. Simmer gently for 4 minutes or until fish cooked.
  5. Serve hot.
