Ingredients /nutrition
- 10 dried chili, soaked in hot water for 20 minutes and drained
- 4 garlic cloves
- 90 ml vegetable oil
- 3 finely chopped shallots
- 2 sliced onion
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into cubes
- 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into cubes
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into cubes
- 800 g chicken, cut into bite size pieces
- 3 finely chopped garlic cloves
- 4 1/2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 100 ml water
- 3 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 3/4 tbsp sugar
- salt to taste
Methods / instructions
- Blend the first 2 ingredients to form a smooth paste using a blender or food processer.
- Heat up oil and stir fry shallots, onions and bell peppers until aromatic.
- Stir in paste and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add in remaining ingredients, stir well, cover with lid and simmer gently for 12 minutes.
- Serve hot with boiled rice.
