Almond chutney recipe

Ingredients /nutrition

  • 50 g blanched almonds
  • 180 ml boiling water
  • 1 roughly chopped green chilies
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 roughly chopped root ginger
  • 20 g roughly chopped coriander leaves
  • 11 fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Methods / instructions

  1. Soak almond in boiling water for 20 minutes.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients into the soaked almond with water.
  3. Transfer to a food processor or blender and process until smooth.
  4. Chill in a refrigerator for at least an hour prior serving.
