Stuffed chicken wings recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 4 chicken wings
  • 2 strips cooked ham, cut into pieces
  • 2 prawns, cut into pieces
  • 2 trips carrot salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lightly beaten egg
  • 1 tsp self raising flour
  • peanut oil for deep frying
  • 5 tbsp chicken stock
  • 3 drops soy sauce
  • 3 drops ginger sherry
  • 1/2 tsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp water

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Remove bones from the chicken wing and stuff with ham, prawn and carrot.
  2. Season well with salt and pepper.
  3. Dip stuffed chicken wing with egg, then flour and deep fry in hot oil for 1 1/4 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and drain on kitchen paper towel. Set aside.
  5. To make the sauce, add remaining ingredients in a small saucepan.
  6. Bring to boil and drizzle sauce over prepared stuffed chicken wings.
  7. Serve immediately.
