Spicy crab recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 green crabs, remove shell and take only the flesh
  • 2 tbsp fried seafood powder
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 finely chopped red chili
  • 1 tsp peppercorns
  • 5 sliced soaked dried chilies
  • 5 slices ginger
  • 1 chopped spring onion
  • 5 shallots, cut into half
  • 2 tbsp broad bean paste
  • 1 tsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp starch powder
  • 14 tbsp water

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Mix crab flesh with fried seafood powder in a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a wok and cook crab until the flesh turn red. Set aside.
  3. In the same wok, add in remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Add in reserved fried crabs and simmer for 6 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately.
