Ingredients (nutrition)
For Duck
- 1 duck
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 3 1/2 tbsp honey
- 2 cups hot water
- 5 slices ginger
- 1 packet small spring roll pastry skin
- 1 thinly sliced cucumber
For Sauce
- 3 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
Preparation (instructions)
- Marinate duck, inside and outside with light soy sauce.
- Chill in refrigerator for at least 15 hours, uncovered.
- Dissolve honey in hot water and baste duck with honey glaze.
- Place ginger pieces in duck cavity and roast in oven at 200 degree C for an hour.
- To prepare sauce, put all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and bring to boil.
- Spread sauce on spring roll pastry and add a slice of duck and cucumber.
- Roll and serve at once.
