Ingredients (nutrition)
- 550 g spareribs, cut into bite size pieces
- 2 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp grated garlic
- 1 fermented red bean curd
- 1/2 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 1 tbsp Chinese wine (Shaoxing Huadiao)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 25 g rice flour
- 3 soaked and drained lotus leaves
Preparation (instructions)
- In a large mixing bowl, mix well all ingredients except rice flour and lotus leaves.
- Coat spare ribs with rice flour and wrap in lotus leaves.
- Steam in a double broiler for 1 1/2 hour.
- Serve at once.
