Ginger beef recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1/2 kg rump steak, cut into thin strips
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 450 ml sesame oil
  • 25 g peeled and finely chopped root ginger

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Rub beef strips with salt, pepper, ginger and cornflour. Set aside for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet and stir fry root ginger for 2 minutes.
  3. Add in beef stripes and cook for 4 minutes.
  4. Serve with steamed white rice.
