Claypot herbal chicken recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 1/2 kg chicken, cut into 4 pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 20 g Medlar
  • 10 g Astragulas hengel
  • 20 g Coponosis Tangshen
  • 5 g Angelica Sinensis
  • 2 l water

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Rub chicken with salt and place into a claypot.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and gently simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  4. Serve instantly.
