Chinese cabbage in cream sauce recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 thinly sliced spring onions
  • 1 roughly shredded Chinese cabbage
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 120 ml single cream
  • 1 1/2 tsp soy sauce

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Melt butter with sesame oil in a heavy deep pan.
  2. Stir in spring onions and cabbage for 2 minutes.
  3. Add in salt, pepper and vinegar. Cook for a further 4 minutes.
  4. Add remaining ingredients and cook for 3 1/2 minutes.
  5. Serve warm.
