Chicken in wine recipe

Ingredients (nutrition)

  • 2 tsp vegetable oil
  • 75 g sliced ginger
  • 5 sliced garlic cloves
  • 1/2 chicken, cut into bite size pieces
  • 2 sliced red chili
  • 25 g basil
  • 1/4 cup rice wine
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp chicken stock granules
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • pinch of ground black pepper

Preparation (instructions)

  1. Heat oil in a wok and saute garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Stir in chicken pieces and remaining ingredients.
  3. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer until sauce thickens.
  4. Serve hot.
