Ingredients (nutrition)
- 450 g rump steak, cut into thin strips
- 3 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1 tbsp dry sherry
- 1 tsp sugar
- 5 tbsp vegetable oil
- 200 g broccoli, broken into florets
- 1 peeled and shredded root ginger
- salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation (instructions)
- Mix well meat with soy sauce, cornflour, dry sherry and sugar in a big bowl.
- Cover with cling film and allow to marinate for half an hour.
- Heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil in a heavy skillet and stir fry broccoli for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Remove broccoli and set aside.
- Add remaining oil in the skillet and stir fry ginger and marinated beef for 2 minutes.
- Return broccoli into skillet and give a good toss.
- Serve immediately.
